How the display looks in the room

Four scenarios — four different screens, not one layout with swapped captions. A bank branch, an administrative-services centre, a clinic and an emergency-service office each have different jobs in the room, so each gets its own grid, its own palette and its own set of on-screen data.

Configurations

From a single panel to a video wall

A video wall is not a “big TV”. It is several panels in a shared frame showing one canvas. Choose a configuration: sizes, resolution and viewing distance are shown to the same scale, with a 175 cm human figure for reference.

Panels assemble and separate on their own

Scaled diagram of the configuration with a 175 cm human figure

Scaled diagram. The seam between panels is shown thickened for clarity — the real one is 3.5 mm.

How it is assembled

  1. Frame. A modular frame with three-axis micro-adjustment is mounted on the wall. Panels are aligned to tenths of a millimetre — otherwise the seam drifts and the canvas breaks into squares.
  2. Panels. Each slots into the frame from the front and locks in. Service access is from the front too: removing one panel doesn’t mean dismantling the wall.
  3. Signal. The controller outputs one canvas; panels are daisy-chained over DisplayPort. Each knows its coordinates in the matrix and takes only its own part of the shared image.
  4. Control. LG SuperSign sees the whole wall as one screen. The QSolutions PRO queue system feeds the call zone into it; the rest of the canvas stays for the customer’s content.

Professional display or consumer TV

The real difference isn’t in the spec sheet — it’s what happens after purchase. Here is what the customer finds out the hard way.

01

The manufacturer warranty doesn’t cover commercial use

A consumer TV is bought for the home — service centers can see the usage hours. It fails after a year in a branch, and the warranty claim is refused. A professional panel: 36 months with commercial operation explicitly permitted.

02

Static burn-in is not a warranty case

The ticket number and logo sit in the same spot 12 hours a day. The panel has built-in anti-burn-in mechanisms and a matrix designed for static content. On a TV, this wear is explicitly excluded from the warranty.

03

You can’t manage a network of TVs

Content, schedule and the status of every device — from one place for the whole branch network. With TVs, that’s a person with a USB stick driving between locations.

04

Security won’t allow a TV onto the corporate network

A consumer OS with telemetry, an app store and auto-updates that change the interface mid-shift. A professional panel passes the security audit: LG Shield — five layers of protection, ETSI EN 303 645 support.

About “portrait orientation”

Any consumer TV can be hung vertically — so portrait on its own is not an argument. The difference is elsewhere: a professional panel officially supports portrait mode — the panel rotates the image itself, the warranty holds in that position, and the thermal design accounts for vertical mounting. On a consumer TV, vertical installation voids the warranty.

LG SuperSign — content management on the panels

LG SuperSign is a content and device management system for LG displays. It comes in the SuperSign CMS, SuperSign Cloud and SuperSign Control editions. We supply, install and configure SuperSign, including the connection to our electronic queue servers.

Integration with the QSolutions PRO electronic queue

A chain of three nodes: queue server → LG SuperSign server → panels. The panel shows the queue because we write the queue — no display reseller and no separate software integrator are required.

One contractor instead of two

An interactive hall consists of two systems — the panel and the queue. The only question is how many contractors are accountable for them.

Two contractors
Panel separate, queue separate
  • Panel — from a display reseller
  • Queue — from another vendor or integrator
  • No one owns the panel ↔ queue integration end to end
  • Two contracts, two areas of responsibility
  • Responsibility for what is on the screen goes in circles
QSolutions — one contractor
Panel + queue from one supplier
  • Panel — supplied by us as an LG Electronics partner
  • Queue — QSolutions PRO, our own product; the rights belong to us
  • We integrate as the developer of the queue, not a middleman between vendors
  • Supply, installation, connection to the queue — in one contract
  • One delivery, one contract, one accountable party

Dozens of companies supply LG panels. The electronic queue system those panels display is developed by us — QSolutions PRO is our own product, and the rights to it belong to us. That is why we deliver the panel ↔ queue integration not as a middleman between two vendors, but as the developer of one of the two systems. For the customer this means one delivery, one contract and one party accountable for the result on the screen.

Edge over resellers

The manufacturer confirms specifications in writing

When a customer requires manufacturer confirmation of specifications, we obtain it in documented form. LG Electronics issues letters for a specific procurement procedure, naming the models and parameters. Copies are provided as part of the tender proposal.

Tender expertise

We defend the bid within the procedure

In this procurement our bid was rejected by the customer. Following an appeal to the Antimonopoly Committee of Ukraine, the rejection was overturned and the contract was awarded to us. We know the procedure, prepare documents to withstand scrutiny, and defend the bid at the AMCU when needed.

Common procurement questions

Answers to what IT directors and procurement officers usually ask before a tender.

How is a professional panel different from a TV?
In short: 24/7 duty cycle instead of 16/7, 500 cd/m² instead of 250–300, anti-glare, control over RS-232C and LAN, dust and moisture protection, 36-month warranty with on-site service. Full comparison is in the “Professional panel or TV” section.
What is the lead time?
Selected models are in stock — delivery from 3–5 business days. 60–90 days is the manufacturer’s lead time for made-to-order positions. Ask for current stock.
Who installs and configures?
We do. DDP delivery, mounting, commissioning, connection to the queue, staff training — in a single contract.
We already run another queue system. Can you connect?
Yes. The panel is controlled by standard means — LAN, RS-232C, SuperSign. The only question is whether your system exposes data; that is checked during the site survey.
Can it be vertical?
Yes, portrait orientation is native to the UL3Q series. For other series we confirm per specific model.
How is the warranty serviced?
Through LG’s authorised service network in Ukraine; the warranty card is handed over with the equipment.
Are you an official LG partner?
Yes. LG Electronics issues us authorisation letters confirming partner status and warranty obligations for specific models — including for public procurements. The most recent letters date to June 2025, for procurement UA-2025-06-09-009054-a. Copies are provided on request as part of a tender proposal.
Can you confirm panel specifications from the manufacturer?
Yes. When a customer requires manufacturer confirmation, LG Electronics issues letters for the specific procurement procedure, naming the models and parameters (for example, 11.4 mm bottom bezel width, 2 USB ports). Copies are provided as part of the tender proposal.
What do you do if a customer rejects the bid without grounds?
We know the procedure and prepare documents to withstand scrutiny. When needed we appeal the rejection to the Antimonopoly Committee of Ukraine: in public procurement UA-2025-06-09-009054-a the rejection of our bid was overturned and the contract was awarded to us.

Who it’s for

Typical scenarios we size panels and integration for.

Bank
Bank branch
Pain: queue and ads on separate screens, consumer TVs burn in. We install: a 24/7 panel + queue integration. Result: one managed screen across the whole network.
Public services
Government / public service center
Pain: queue, reference info and notices are scattered. We install: a panel with queue and information zones. Result: fewer questions to the front desk.
Healthcare
Hospital / medical center
Pain: patients can’t find rooms and doctors. We install: a panel with the appointment schedule and wayfinding. Result: appointment-based flow without corridor queues.
Emergency service
Public-sector service center
Pain: services and fees need to be shown to visitors. We install: a panel with queue and reference info. Result: a real deployment — see the SES Poltava case.

What to ask a panel supplier

Seven questions a manufacturing partner answers better than a reseller.

Is there a manufacturer authorisation letter for the specific model?
For us — yes. LG Electronics issues letters for the specific procedure naming the models. Copies are provided as part of the tender proposal.
Who honours the warranty and through which network?
36-month warranty through LG’s authorised service network in Ukraine; the warranty card is handed over with the equipment.
Does the manufacturer confirm specifications in writing?
Yes. LG issues letters naming the parameters (e.g. bezel width, number of ports). That is what a reseller cannot provide.
Who is responsible for the queue integration?
We are — the developer of the QSolutions PRO queue system. Panel and queue from one contractor, one accountable party.
What if the model is discontinued?
LG professional series stay in the lineup for years; the network can be extended with the same model. If discontinued, we select a compatible replacement.
Do you have public-procurement experience?
Yes. The SES Poltava public procurement (UA-2025-06-09-009054-a) — LG panels as part of the system, data open on Prozorro.
Will the bid withstand an appeal?
We prepare documents to withstand scrutiny and defend the bid at the AMCU when needed — with experience of an ungrounded rejection being overturned.
